Hi everyone!
I've only ever had 2 seizures in my life - both were induced by looking at a computer monitor. Before both of them, I experienced this odd feeling, like I briefly was no longer awake - probably was the warning to move away.
When I had my EEG it was completely normal, and I wasn't actually diagnosed as photosensitive or .. well, anything really. My Neuro just said that I should avoid monitors and CRT screens as well as strobe lights, and put me on epilim for 2 years, before taking me off completely - I'm no longer actually on any medication, and have been seizure free for 4 years (the last time I looked at a damn CRT monitor)
Does this mean that, unless I look at a CRT monitor, I won't have a seizure? Just recently I've become so paranoid for some reason, even though nothing has changed!
Any advise would be great...
Many thanks!!

If you are concerned about the strobe light request an EEG, that would definitely indicate to you and the Neurologist if you are under control. If your visual field or occipital lobe do not react, it's possible you are in control!
Good Luck!
