I am a Cannabidiol (CBD) farmer in Southern California and I run a small non-profit, which focuses on peoples who are in need of alternative medicinal options. I make CBD-rich extracts that are then infused in organic grape alcohol and a dash of organic raw honey.
For those of you not familiar with Cannabidiol (CDC), it is defined as:
Cannabidiol — CBD— is a compound in cannabis that has significant medical effects, but does not make people feel “stoned” and can actually counter the psychoactivity of THC. The reduced psychoactivity of CBD-rich cannabis may make it an appealing treatment option for patients seeking anti-inflammatory, anti-pain, anti-anxiety, anti-psychotic, and/or anti-spasm effects without disconcerting lethargy or dysphoria. Currently, the FDA has approved testing for CBD and children with Epilepsy. (Read about it here: http://my.epilepsy.com/epilepsy/clinical_trial_cannabidiol)
This is great news and a step in the right direction. My mission is to assist with peoples' health, not their high, and hopefully this study will shine the light on the true potential of medicinal cannabis. The fact that is does not make "high" opens the door of possibility to people who shy away from the medical cannabis debate.
I am happy to say that 2 of my 6 different CBD-rich tinctures contain very high levels of CBD and absolutely ZERO THC. This is very rare and very exciting. I hope that I will have the opportunity to increase the quality-of-life for those who live with epilepsy or have children with epilepsy. If we do not
lease feel free to share any experience you may have had or someone you know had using CBD-rich medicine. You will always have my ear.
