Unexpected pregnancy and haven't been taking folic acid
Fri, 01/16/2015 - 19:36Ohhhh crap crap crap! Hi all. I'm in my late 30s, 2 kids and husband booked in for a vasectomy next month. My birthing days were over, so I thought. Yesterday, noticing my period was a few days late I used a dusty old pregnancy test I found at the back of my bathroom drawer.
To my utter dismay/delight/shock, I'm pregnant. The problem is i haven't been taking folic acid. I have myoclonic epilepsy with a few tonic clonics thrown in every now and then, and 200mg lamictal morning and at night.

Welcome If you are worried about medications and your child still baking in your oven then call the 24/7 helpline. Call your neurologist and check with him about your medications. Glad to know you have wanted to get in here. But what a way to do it LOL I hope this helps Joe
