New with Seizures

I have some questions..How can I explain to my parents that I am truly having seizures?? I am in my 30s..I have had 2 so far..both absences..not positive..neurologists says peaks are abnormal but no more tests yet. Wondering if I have them at night time..by myself.

I'm not sure if you could simply request it or if a doc needs to order it of their own accord, but you could try and do a sleep study, if possible.

I am 54 years old and diagnosed with epilepsy 1 1/2 years ago. I was diagnosed  by having a 30 minute  EEG and then an ambulatory EEG. The ambulatory eeg should be able to document anySeizures you are havingAtNight
