I used to have about five seizures a month and wasnt on meds for years.When I finally did get insurance and decided to see a neurologist to try to control the few that I was having so that I could drive he put me on different kinds of meds to stop them and they made them worse.Instead I was having hundreds a day at times. So I have a VNS and am on the last two meds made and am still having a lot of them. The meds Im on now are Keppra and Vimpat and not only am I having seizures but, I went from a size seven to a twelve. It seems not matter how I watch my diet and exercise my weight stays the same.
