Meds or no meds?

I'm wondering how many of you went off your meds while you were pregnant? I have been seizure free for 10 years but I've also been on meds this whole time and my neurologist has said that the meds I'm on( lamotrigine) is one of the safest for pregnancy. I really don't want to go off my meds when I become pregnant as I'm worried how I will react with no meds. Have any of you still taken your mds while pregnant and had a healthy baby and delivery?

I've been taking 500mg of brand name Keppra XR for about 4 years now and I had my 3rd kid whole taking it. She's almost 2 and she's extremely smart and tons of fun! I didn't have any problems breast feeding her while on Keppra either. I was worried about that, but we also did a level test using my breast milk and it wasn't even detectable. Keppra makes me feel awful, but it didn't affect her negatively. I was told that Lamictal and Keppra are the cleanest drugs to take while pregnant and that the benefits out weigh the potential cons... Having a seizure during pregnancy could have worse effects than the meds would. Good luck:)
