Keppra cause burning in knee

Wed, 04/15/2015 - 14:40

Hello all,

I have been taking Keppra for 2.5 weeks. The first 7 days, I took (1) 500 mg tablet a day. I am now up to (2) 500 mg tablets a day. Since yesterday, I've noticed I randomly get a burning sensation in my right knee. When it occurs, it only lasts for a few seconds and happens maybe 5 times a day. Is this something that anyone else has experienced with Keppra? Was it something you mentioned to your doctor and did your doctor say it's something to be concerned about? Thank you.

HiI'm on Keppra and have never experienced any side-effects. If this is affecting your day-to-day life then make an appointment with your neurologist.
