A person can have more then

A person can have more then one type of seizure. I know I have had many different seizures. I have changed from one medication to another one and didn't have any issues. The medication she was taking is a pretty good one Tegretol is also it.s other name. The medicine the neurologist prescribed Lerace  is also keppra or generic keppra. I have used them both and I still take keppra. The neurologist has changed your wife's medication to a newer medication with fewer side effects. It has become the go to medication for all kinds of seizures. It not only controls absence seizures but any kind between them and tonic-clonic.  For me the result is fewer seizures and the tine=me in them has been reduced. My seizures were about as long as your wife's. today they are a few seconds long. I can be setting across from you drinking coffee and discussing something with you and if I had a seizure you would know nothing about it. My PCP didn't know about the one I had while discussing another issue with him. Oh and he said he now knows why I kept the neurologist I had,
