Got a Paraguard IUD-embarassing sensitive question.

I have been on birth control pills to treat amenorrhea since I was 14. I went on seizure meds last month, and even though I'm unfortunately still a virgin, I got the copper IUD and went off the pill because pregnancy is not an option for me and I'm hoping to become "active" soon. I would never just rely on condoms or a diaphragm, which are the only other non-hormonal options. I don't mind my period stopping again because I get migraines when I have it. Have lots of other women had success with this IUD? Don't tell me anything too scary because I plan on sticking with it for the rest of my life, or at least until I don't have to take seizure meds someday (crossing my fingers). I know from reading about it that it is effective. I know a lot of women remove it due to pain and bleeding. I have experienced some of this but I have a high pain tolerance and it doesn't bother me. The only thing that bugs me is the bleeding. I am embarrassed about being a virgin at almost 22. I broke my own hymen long ago, and I planned on not telling my future partner about my virginity. I don't see it as special or sacred and I don't want a long term relationship (please no hate). I am afraid that my first time, or other times, guys will wrongfully or quicky assume that I'm a virgin during sex if I bleed from the IUD. I don't plan on doing anything until at least three months pass and the strings get checked for the first time. Will there be a point where the occasional spotting stops or will it always be there.
