Does the brain ever get used to Seizures??

Wed, 08/03/2016 - 17:01
Okay, so this is my question. Does the brain ever get used to seizures.I got diagnosed with epilepsy (grand mal) when I was 17 put on meds until I was 28 when I was given a clean bill of health and told I can stop taking medicine. At that point I had about a seizure a month up until I was 21 and then nothing. I am now 32 and had another one just out of no where, now back on meds. After the one I had recently I noticed something. Its almost like my brain has gotten used to it because I snapped back a lot faster and what I mean is when I woke up I knew where I was what year it was and everything. Compared to my first one when I literally knew next to nothing when I finally came to. My seizures themselves haven't changed still grand mal full body seizures. I go in tomorrow for the EEG and MRI to see if my epilepsy is back but I still really want to understand why it seems like my memory after a seizure has seemed to improve. Thanks in advance!
