Diagnosed as a child but new to a downhill battle

Sat, 06/11/2016 - 17:09
I am a 31yr old female who had sustained brain damage from strokes as an infant which so far has caused complex partial epilepsy... As a child to younger adult my body was able to keep up and now i am not exactly sure what all to expect. Or actually what i am already going through... I have been battling with this for the last two years that i know of w meds and what not... But the last two months have been the worst... I guess im just basically looking for answers to things i cant really explain myself?? Lol. Like vivid dreams at night followed by severe fatigue the next day, some nights waking up to vomitting out of nowhere (gross i know), waking up to hallucinations (one account only), apparently twitching in my sleep... The seizures that i am aware of are when i stare off into space n have no clue where i go (when my waitress does her magic glass trick lol), when i lick my lips repeatedly (which i never lose conciousness during cause my wife notices most the time when i do this and talks me through it, but leaves my lips horribly chapped sometimes), and playing w my hands a lot... But i do have small things also like faces, tingly heels lips hands, nausea... Im just curious to what all is going on and what is what and what to expect in the future... I have so far taken Zonisamide which caused hallucinations... I took Gabapentin for a year and a half which seemed to work ish... I think the dose was getting too high too quick... Now i am on Qudexy XR which is Topamax Extended release 200mg once a day and the seizures are still slipping through... Any help and/or advice would be greatly appreciated:)
