Change of medication and drastic increase in seizure

Wed, 06/29/2016 - 06:13
Hi, i was diagnosed with juvenile myoclonic epilepsy ~3 years ago when i was 19. I have been taking a homeopathic medicine since then. I get 1 seizure every two months even while taking this medicine. I shifted to allopathic medicine a few days back so that the seizures could be controlled better. I consulted a doctor, and he asked me to take valparin 200mg in the morning and at night everyday. As i started taking the medicine, i developed some rashes in my mouth. I consulted the doctor again and he asked me to take some vitamin b12 tablet too. However today, i had a seizure at ~7am in the morning, and again at ~11am. This has never happened before. On consulting the doctor, he increased the dosage and asked me to take 3 tablets of valparin - morning, afternoon and night - every day. I am scared that increasing the medication may increase the seizures further, and i do not know what to do. The frequency of seizures was 2 months, and it seems to have become 4 hours. :'( Should i do what he said? Can such an increase in seizure happen because i stopped the homeopathic medicine completely and switched to the allopathic one? Do you think i should switch to another doctor? How serious is this change in frequency? Will the frequency of seizures decrease as i continue the medication?
