Auras? Halos

Mon, 06/19/2017 - 22:53
Hi, Im 20 yrs old on topamax 150mg x2 a day. I was diagnosed with epilepsy about 3 years ago. My neurologists don't know what kind of epilepsy i have. But everytime i have a seizure its a grandmal. Ive been getting insane what i think is auras but I'm not positive for the past 3 months, they been affecting throughout the whole day. It happens whenever I'm driving or I'm at work.. just whenever I'm trying to focus. Ill see halos that will move around, black dots, some times clusters of black dots with a reddish tinge to it like its moving towards me then stays still, white bright lines, and i just daze whenever i see them I'm guessing. so i don't know how long I'm staring off at them. Some times my body gets tense or i feel like i can't move my feet my i have to bc I'm driving, i get wicked light headed, dizzy, and my vision get very blurred. i just don't feel like myself sometimes i really want to know what theses are! Someone please help me or share your aura experiences below!

Those sound really horrible!!!  My "aura" is really just feeling dizzy/sick/out of it for a minute or so.  I don't know your situation, or where you live, but sounds like it might be best to minimize driving until you get it more figured out.  I know how hard it is not to drive, I haven't drive a car since 2008 and it it blows.  But it sounds like it is affecting your safety and that of others.
