Anxiety meds while on lamotrigine?

I have always had an anxiety problem ever since I was diagnosed with epilepsy 10 years ago but lately it seems to be getting worse and I'm thinking I should maybe go on a low dose of anxiety meds but I wanted to know if any of you guys have been on anxiety meds while also taking lamotrigine(panic tak generic) for seizures? I have only had 3 full blown black out seizures in those 10 years and that was in one day. I have been on meds for all that time and haven't had any blackout seizures but I have had several times over the years where I feel like I did right before I had my seizures but never actually passed out. I have a cardiologist appointment next week since they found out I have a slightly enlarged aorta and a mild leaking valve in my heart so I'm guessing why I'm having major anxiety right now. they found that out because I did genetic testing and my seizures were caused by me having periventricular heterotopia and that can cause heart issues. So does anyone have any experience with anxiety meds while on lamotrigine? What did you take and does it help?
