advice please

Hi my name is Ashley. I have suffered from partial seizures since I was around 5 with my first spell causing me to almost fall to my knees while I was at a family get together. The room was spinning violently and I was terrified. Fast forward to my senior year in high school back in 2012 I suffered that entire summer with the most undescribable misery I've ever experienced. Unfortunately because of my poorly worded explanation of my symptoms the doctors would pick at me about seeing a psychiatrist because one of my symptoms I described was feeling like everything was a dream. I was told I was under stress and as a result I was disassociating myself from the world. It wasn't until I was 19 and in college that I finally was properly diagnosed with partial epilepsy. I am currently taking lamotragine and unfortunately begining to suffer with my symptoms all over again. Is this normal? I know that everyone's different and the body can begin to change how medications effect the body. I also am curious to why my seizures mostly occur in the summer? I so tired of all the strain on my body because I honestly thought I was set with the perfect medication. I would really appreciate the responses. I am really frustrated.

Actually I did have an issue

Actually I did have an issue with switching. My dad works on the oilfield and had insurance with his company but when everyone was getting laid off he switched companies immidiatly. With that he got new insurance but unfortunately when I went to fill my prescription I had to go to Walmart instead of Walgreens and I noticed I received lamotrigine at Walmart and lamictal at Walgreens. I just thought they were the same and this happened in April so I assumed it never effected me. I'm just frustrated because I'm now on 400 MG and I took and eeg at my neurologist and they said my epilepsy is just fine. He said that the migraines which I also suffer from could be part of the problem but honestly I don't really know anymore. I start back to college on August 31st and hopefully I start to feel better. Thank you so much for replying. I know I'm blessed to not suffer from grand mal seizures but sometimes with the symptoms of dizziness and confusion I feel crazy like I'm helpless. I hope everything goes well for you! :)
