My szrs started back at age 12. I was never able to concentrate in class after a szr. I always needed rest and sleep gave that to me. I usually went home after my szrs. A szr can cause sadness, anger, aggrevation, loss of concetration, and the need for rest. Make sure your daughter has your support and make sure she has friends, boys and girls who support her and can help her

Good Luck, E_Loner

hi, im 17 and i coincidentally started noticing learning issues when i was about 13, although i was diagnosed with epilepsy in first grade because of my first grande mal seizure. I have never taken a grande mal since, but i have suffered in school.. It has affected my short-term memory, attention, and i often find myself "blanking out"

Do you see these symptoms in your daughter?

best advice for a seizure at school-take her home. she needs to rest after it and a seizure is not only hard on the brain and body physically but emotionally as well.
