Professor/Faculty/Peer Response

Sat, 12/13/2008 - 23:38

Hey everyone

Just wondering how everyone feels about the response they get from professor/peers and other faculty at school about their epilepsy? When you have a seizure does anyone step forward to help?? Do other students point fingers or get scared/confused ??

Im trying to raise awareness of Epilepsy at my college, and I'd like to hear how all students feel about the subject. I've yet to meet a teacher/peer/faculty who knows how to respond; I have been made fun of by peers and faculty. Its all ignorance in my mind, people just arent educated about Epilepsy like they may be about Cancer or Diabetes.
