Pain in epilepsy

Fri, 01/15/2010 - 06:37

My daughter is 15, and has suffered with epilepsy from the age of 4. She also has Hemiplegia  which affects her right side. When she starts with a seizure, she suffers excruciating pain in her right hand, which makes her feel very sick. Her hand is absolutely soaked, and I can see the pain in her face. She takes Keppra and Tegretol Retard.. We can`t control the sizures fully, but have got them down to two a week. But they are lasting longer now.. Has anyone else experienced this sort of pain?? Thanks , Sue..
