Hi there!
I see you're young also & dealing with Medical nonesense makes me feel a lil better! How did they diagnose your SLE because I have been diagnosed with Epilepsy now almost 4 yrs & now I have just taken a bloodtest for autoimmune & my ANA came back direct positive & my RA came back elevated not sure what those mean except that they connect to my immune system...all I can say is at this pt my seizures are still not controlled & I am constantly getting sick & always feel very tired & extremely weak...& all my medical problems started first with dizzy spells & vertigo then excruciating rt upper quadrant pain, elevated blood ct & fever then it progressed to weight loss of 25 pounds because I couldn't keep food down & not being able to eat anything that was solid for 2 yrs & every gi test came back negative besides a stomach emptying scan which came back slower so I was diagnosed with Gastroparesis..basically I was kinda a medical mystery & then February of that yr I had my first seizure & fell off a physics stool & then it was 9 seizures a day from there on out....now it's about 1 a wk....any thoughts?! I'm honestly desperate :-/ the neuro wants to put me back in the hospital for another EEG cause mine are very suddle to see if she can pick up any more waves.....I'm not excited :-(
thanks a bunch!

I had epilepsy as a child - started grand mal seizures at 3 years old, had my last one at 10 years old & was off the medicine by 13 yrs. old. I was just diagnosed last year at 36 years old with Lupus SLE and was just googling correlations between these 2 diseases and saw your comments.
have you learned anything new since the last posting here?
sorry about your issues.
