looking for a friend/ stress

Hey i'm 15 and i've had a few sleep deprevation induced seizeres but never under any other known circumstances.I was just diagnosed recently & am taking meds, but I was wondering if anyone else out there knew if you can have stress induced seizures? Also, it would be nice to have some friends who can understand what its like to have epilepsy.

Although I am currently seizure-free, I can start to feel weird when I don't get enough sleep or am really stressed because of school or whatever. Sometimes when I think alot about my epilepsyness (is that a word?), I sometimes get a little stressed, but I just remember that thats the way I'm supposed to be, and theres nothing I can do about it. Hope you also learn to deal. :)
I am the way I am because thats the way God made me. 15 yrs old. Epilepsy since oct 2004. 400mg AM and 600mg PM of Carbatrol. Currently seizure free and loving it :)

Yes, I've had stress induced seizures. Mostly it's just petite mal seizures that come from stress, but, stress in general sucks. My story is long, so maybe we can talk further when i have more time to write it all down. thanks.

Hey I'm 14 and I've had seizures since I was 5. I understand. And yeah seizures can cause stress. Between school, taking pills, kids asking questions, and worrying parents it can get stressful. If you want to talk email me at susanatorw@aol.com
