Facial Twitches

Anyone with epilepsy get facial twitches (mouth, or jaw drops down) or blinking? Can anyone explain what this is?

Hi lilpeanut, I get the facial twitches quite often. My epileptologist said they are probably simple partial seizures. Mine are on the right side of the mouth and cheek. Sometimes, I go into a complex partial when it happens, and sometimes not. Lack of sleep definitely causes it for me. Have a good day, Barbie

I don't get the twitches but when I fall with a seizure everybody says that all my facial muscles drawn down.Don't know why.With the simple partials my right eye always droops for about 1min. afterwards.Why is this?Good luck
