driving

Tell me, am i tempting the fates to act up now? I looked in my "seizure journal" (god, other girls keep real journals) :) But I saw that I hadn't had a seizure since Oct 2, 2004. Am I just asking for one to come along? I want my license so now is as good as time is any. I'm just scared. Any help? It has probably been three months (I didn't count, it's kinda late and i have to get to bed) but I just keep putting it off. I could probably have my license by now and be living on my own but I am just scared. Have any of you been in my place before? If you have write back for a little confidence booster.Thanks-Stacey

Hey Stacey...
That's awesome to hear that you've made it that far without a seizure! I actually made it to that point a while ago, and was asking myself the same questions. You know what I eventually? I went for it. I got my license, and actually got to drive around for a while. It felt really good. it's VERY much worth it. Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to drive right now because of some issues that my doctors and I have come across...*sigh* Ah, well. Life goes on.

So yeah, in short-DO IT. Driving is awesome. It's totally worth going for. GOOD LUCK!

Twitchy, you rock!! I am going to go get my temporary license tomorrow so I can actually learn how to drive on the road. How sad that I've taken so long. :( But thank you so much for the confidence boost, it was truely what I needed.
