any teens feel Out numbered

Hi Everyone my name is Gina. I am 17 years old and a junior in high school. I have had epilepsy since I was 8 mounths old. It has been very hard on me all these years. does anyone else feel this way? I realy wish that i could drive because all of my other friends can. This past time I went to see my doctor which was only a few weeks ago and she told me that I have tried almost all of the seizure medications that I could go on. I felt very sad when I found out like someone punched me in the stomach. I hope that I am not the only person with epilepsy who feels this way.

Thats really nice to know that I am not the only person who feels like this. I am on the swim team at school and yahhh I fell seizure free at the same time. Are you even close to getting you drivers licens. What state do you live in. I have about at least 1 simple parcial or parcial complex seizure a day. What kind of seizures do you have. How long have you had epilepsy for. I have had epilepsy since I was 8 mounths old. When i was younger I had grand mall seizures. i live in arizona no i don't even have my licens yet and i won't be able to get until i have my seizure under control. i have about five to six time a day. and each time it happen man i just get so tired so i end up sleeping in class.lol i have partial seizure sometime i can feel it coming on and i can fight it off but by the time i fight it off i tend to passout. i started to have these at the age of 11 years old. idk i did every test the eeg, ct scan and mri regular and the dye injection and still they can't find anything so hopefully the 24hr eeg will catch something.ok k.i.t talk to you later then!!

yeah i have the same problem here but i'm a senoir in high school and can't drive cuz of my seizure and suck so bad. and i'd also tried all medication. but nothing works, but i play alot of sport and i think that like almost the only time that i am seizure free and i feel no pain. so you are not the only one that feel this way.
