Am i having night seizures?

Hello,
Recently I have been having reccuring dreams of passing out. Sometimes I dream that I am drunk (when I am actually sober), and I remember feeling very dizzy while asleep. I have heard strange music and sounds in my head as I am trying to fall asleep, which I think is normal...
It is very difficult to wake up in the morning even after I have gotten 8+ hours of sleep, which is abnormal for me. When I wake up I feel exhausted, my limbs are in pain, and I sometimes have a headache.
Two days ago at work I experienced shooting pain like an electric shock on the back/left side of my head, above my ear.
I am 18 years old - I have a cousin who developed epilepsy at 17.
Please let me know if I should be concerned.

I have nocturnal seizures and i have those exact symptoms when i wake up plus a wierdo feeling of Deja Vu. Maybe you could have some one sleep with or near you to make sure tho ohhhh, i'm not sure if its just because i have grand mal tonic-clonic seizures but inside of my mouth usually tastes weird and is a bit chewed up. So maybe you could do those things or if you're big on privacy use a camera instead. I hope you find out soon though, and as a safety precaution you may wanna try sleeping on your side and having soft items around your bed to break you fall if you do...(i learned that the hard way!. Hope you find out soon though. Take care.

Jaci, night sez. were my problem or are my problem but it's been two mts scince my last one now.What I did with out my doc. suggestion was to stop all caffine,all sugar,and make sure I eat something before I go to sleep at night so that my blood sugar does'nt drop off while I sleep.All natural peanut butter or cheese seemed to help.I got a blood sugar monitor to keep track of blood sugar levels.There is a great deal of caffine and sugar in a lot of foods and drinks we don't know about.I don't know if I've been blessed from above or what.But it has been 9 wks now with no sez and I used to have some killers.I'd scare the crap out of my wife,kids,even my dog.The woman next door is a nurse and big into natural foods And was her idea that my blood sugar level was falling off at night.Night sez are bad because you don't feel them coming on in your sleep and if you sleep alone there is'nt anyone to tell you what happend.I would wake up and my head would be pounding my eyes would hurt I would'nt know who I was where I was who my wife was and I would be scared. It's wierd big time. All those doctor vists and thet could'nt help me I still take my meds of course. But now thet seem to be doing me more good.
