vns therapy

I have generalized epilepsy and my doctor is wanting meto consider vns, because I'veranout of medications to try. Has anyone else had the surgery with all over the brain seizure activity? What were your side effects, and would you recommend it?

I just posted my experience with VNS therapy. I believe that my daughter, Leanna Petersen, died as a direct result of having this device implanted. I believe the device malfunctioned, sending the impulses intended for her brain to her heart. She died just 10 days after her neurologist turned her unit on.
