Mon, 06/11/2012 - 14:32
I'am 47 years old. out of the blue I started having seizers. The Doctor does not know where they are coming from. I had a VNS inplant 4 months ago. Now I'am  having chest pains every time it goes through it's cycle.  Is this normal or something I should worry about?

You should inform your doctor, but there is side effects to everything. The first year of getting used to the VNS is always bothersome and I had chest pains as well. But you should tell your doctor. I don't know what they give you now for all the VNS information, but I had a little book with all the side effects in it and the book helped everytime there was something strange.

I am 41 years old. I just had a vns implant may of 2017. So I have not had it long. However it has HELP the seizures calm Down. However I have had Seizure symtoms.  Dizziness, the hyperectention of joints when I wake. I have begun to have chest pains as well. I can't say it is vns related but can say I am gonna bring it up to my doctor. I'm still thankful it has helped.
