Right temporal lobectomy and double vision

Tue, 06/21/2016 - 15:49
I posted once before about getting double vision right after my temporal lobectomy. No comments. Has no one really never experienced this or has no one really had the surgery for epilepsy. After research it seems that it can happen maybe even 10% of the time. I am looking to find people that may have experienced it and came out the other side. Please help.

Hi,I just had right temporal lobectomy this week (writing from hospital bed!) and am feeling the double vision with the images shifted laterally. I think it's vision from the left eye that sits on top of that of the right. This is a hope of getting some feedback back from wcras and you guys, rather than create my own thread...Does what I just described fit your experience and how long did it last? John

I had a lesion removed from my right temporal lobe a month ago on July 20 and have had double vision since then. Did you see improvement? How long did it take to go away?
