meet with doctor about vns therapy jan 26

Hi i am 30 have had seziures since baby and been on almost every med out there and none has stoped my seziures and i tend to get bad side affects alot. I am meeting with a vns theraby surgical doctor on jan 26 to talk and go over vns theropy and surgerie. I am very nervous on if it will help ive never been able to drive and been on ssi most of my life and have two kids one gone though lost threw cps because of sezuires the other i see several weekends a month and alot during summer i am married and happy but me and my husbands life is so limited because i have sezuries and am so scared to go many places or to be alone especially when my daughter is hear she is so scared of momy having sezuries she thanks alot when i do thinks i am dieing she is so scared. I am just hopeing vns will help me and i can live a more normal life because i never have i dont even know what one is . any one have advice on what i should expect jan 26 when i see him and what he will talk to me about and if anything else i should be aware of will he make me undergo more test or anything i am scared .
