The King Institute (TKM), Natural Healing - Anyone tried this?

Mon, 02/07/2011 - 12:06
I have posted a few questions before and received great (and HONEST) responses - so THANK YOU to everyone.  Brief Background:  I am contemplating having brain surgery next month and will be making the decision very soon (prob. next week).  I have a lesion in my front, left temporal lobe, which has signs of being a tumor.  I had 62 documented seizures in 2010 (partial complex).  Question:  I have a neighbor who is a former nurse and she is VERY into "natural healing" (no meds, nothing invasive, etc.).  She recommends I try a method from The King Institute (TKI) before having surgery. This is a Christian based organization.  Her husband has Parkinson’s and says this has helped him a lot.  She did one treatment on me, but I saw no changes.  Of course, she says it takes many treatments.  Anyway, she is very educated and trustworthy.  I'm curious if anyone has heard of this method or has even tried it.  Please let me know if you have.  Also, the website is http://www.kinginstitute.org/ if you are curious.  I'm very skeptical, which is why I'm asking this question.  Although, nothing was stated in this paragraph as a question, but you get my point!  =0)  Thanks again to everyone for your honesty and willingness to reply!  Sincerely, Peyton
