Gamma Knife for PVNH??

Hi Everyone. I am wondering if anyone has any information about the Gamma Knife procedure for epilepsy?? I have bilateral periventricular heterotopia and have already had surgery that diddn't work and recently had a VNS implanted. My surgeon know wants to try the Gamma Knife surgery to shrink the heterotopias because they are in the middle of my brain and surgery wouldn't be a good idea. I am really not sure what to do because there isn't much info. out there on this and if its even worth giving a try. Any info./advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
