Frontal Lobe Sugery Concerns and Questions

Wed, 11/07/2012 - 10:13

Is there anyone out there who has Frontal Lobe seizures and a Frontal Lobe surgery resection done? I've just completed abattery of tests .  I'm a good prospect to have it done and have lots of questions.  I've had seizures since 4 which have never been fully controlled. ( Due to a birth injury)  I'm 50 now- I have a 12 year old, am married and have not worked or driven for over 10 years now because of my seizures.I used to work in the medical field and   I want my life back- but I am also  very concerned about the process and what to expect ect.  Our resources are limited, and I'm concened about insurance coverage also.  I average about 10-15 seizures a day. including auras and nocturnal ones.   I'm on Keppra, 1300 dly, Lamictal 600 dly and Topamax 100 dly.  Please- if anyone has any type of information it would help.

Look up PROFESSIONALS on the upper right corner of this screen.  It has a lot of information about frontal lobe epilepsy, and surgery.
