Want Understanding

I have one of the greatest neurologists. He is so helpful and can actually show empathy towards my family because his family has also dealt with neurological problems. I just found that my almost 2 year old son has seizure activity in his right frontal lobe. Then I learned that this can cause seizures in sleep. My son twitches a lot in his sleep only for about 10-15 seconds though. Could this be a seizure?

My daughter twitches alot when she is first falling asleep or is very tired. She has done this during eegs so they were able to determine that it is "active sleep". The guidelines I have been given is that as long as she doesn't have more than ten movements at a time then she is okay.Another way they told me to check if I'm not sure is to wake her up.If she responsed normally she is fine. Check with your neruo if you havent already asked just to make sure.Normal after about 1 hour of sleeping she stops moving.
