Vitamin b6 gummies or good tasting liquid

Wed, 05/14/2014 - 16:41

Hello everyone,

I have a 5 year old daughter with epilepsy. She takes 2.5ml of Keppra twice a day. She has been on Keppra since her first seizure last July and we have had issues on and off with anger. We tried giving her 100mg vitamin B6 liquid but it tastes terrible. Is there a better tasting liquid or even gummies we can give her? The one we tried was from Carlson labs and tastes awful.

We mix the liquid (from  Carlson Labs) wth sugar free cherry syrup (the kind that you would put in a latte) at a ratio of 50/50 and our 3 yr old granddaughter loves it. Sh even takes the keppra eassir as she knows it will be followed by the cherry/b6 mixture. There are many different flavors,  so you could use their favorite ir sitch it up from time to time.
