Severe leg pain and tingling preceding seizures?

Fri, 01/30/2015 - 17:07

My son was recently diagnosed with epilepsy and aortic stenosis...we've noticed that preceding EVERY seizure his legs start aching, then his feet tingle, and then he gets tired and wants to cuddle (he's only seven so he's not too "cool" for that yet...YAY!) then suddenly we're in a 5 minute + generalized tonic clonic seizure. The trileptal and some gatorade seems to be helping the seizures, but we're still getting the leg pains and such...which scares me because there's that nagging mom worry that maybe those are associated with the heart condition in reality and not the seizures...has anyone else experienced these symptoms leading up to epileptic seizures? The nuerologist keeps telling us that it means NOTHING...am I worrying over nothing? Any advice would be amazing!
