Hi. I'm am currently in the hospital with my son. He is 16 and we just started dealing with his seizures less than a year ago. He had never had seizures before (that we know of). Since the end of November last year to feburary of this year he had had a total of 4 seizures. At first they diagnosed him with partial complex seizure, a form of Epilepsy. From February to June he had no activity, even with a 5 day study off meds. So in July he was taken off meds completely. Last night I found him in a seizure. It lasted about 4 minutes, but really about half hour for him to gain consciousness again. We came straight to the ER. Since 10 last night he has had 5 seizure. With one being a grand Mal. Were at a lost. The drs have no answers for us. Were awaiting another eeg, but the 5 he has had up to now have all been normal. As well as all of the other test he has had. Any help or information is greatly appreciated.
