New to this forum - very worried mum!

My 4 yr old son has recently been diagnosed with myoclonic astatic epilepsy. I'm still trying to get my head round it. He started taking seizures in June this year and his condition seems to be progressing rapidly - its really frightening!I am so worried for him. He is on 20ml of Epilim and 2mg of topiramate daily, which I thought was making a difference yesterday, but no, although he hasnt had a general seizure since he was put on topiramate, he still has alot of head jerks, absence seizures, drop attacks and a few other things which I'm not sure if its his E progressing or side effects of meds.We had to take him off clobazam last week as he had quite a long general seizure and was really hyper with extreme behavioural problems.Any suggestions or info would be most grateful. x
