My son was diagnosed with epilepsy at age 10. He had febrile seizures from 1-3 and also had open heart surgery as an infant. Besides all of that he is like any other kid. I started the blog, honestly, for myself. To process what we had all been through and were going through. Maybe it could help someone else, searching the internet for information like I once did. He is now 16 and has been seizure free for almost 4yrs!!! (knock on wood) Still on medication but well controlled.
