need your advice and opinions..please

i was wondering has anyone had a child with sz that hullicinates or hears things that are not there? my daughter has been for quite a while now and at first we thought it was kinda cute because it was angels and nice things but now they are not nice and the pictures she draws of them are starting to freak us out. We have talked to the dr. and he said it could be her medicine or a new type of sz she is having...so my question is have any of your children have this or have you ever heard of anything like it. This goes well beyond normal imagination..it is really starting to worry me..please any advice or opinion would be greatly appericated..thank you

I thought the section on focal seizures with complex visual symptoms sounded similar to what you were describing

Hi Kari, I have a ten year old son who started having partial seizures about 2 1/2 years ago. His seizures have taken many different forms during this time. He has had at least one that I can remember where he hallucinated and has had two or three seizures where he heard a scream or a growl. These were very scary for him (and us)...his doctor assured us that these things can happen during a seizure. At the time when these things occurred, my husband and I did a little research online and found some information...it has been about a year ago now so I can't remember which websites we checked. I hope this information helps you. Chris
