i had a friend *Kelly. N was my ex husbands nurse during colon cancer. She was smart , pretty, and had the nerve severed in her brain to stop her seizures at 14 years old. She had to learn to read write talk and walk all over again. But, she graduated and became a cna then an LV N and then a nurse. She said that it changed her life for the better and she would never have been able to be a nusre at 25 if she was still having seizures. She said she lived in so much pain that she feared dying everyday. Once she got normal which took about 4 years, she still would take a seizure medication but had not had one seizure in 6 years at the time I knew her. I wish this was a better expert opinion for you, but she went on to be a highly regarded and sought after nurse in our small town!
