hi new to this with a 14 yr son with epilepsy

i have a 14 yrs on son who had epilepsy since he was 7 months old, my son has been on every drug you can think of about over 42 different types. at the moment he taking zonisamide. my son condation is intractale epilepsy with generalised and partial elements. h/oepisodic motor regression with upper motor signs predominantly left side+/- deterioration in seizure control and abnormal eeg, he had two non convulsive status so far this year but last year he had 6 attacks. ben vagus nerve stimulator isn't working for him been two years and he still on meds for his fits. doctor want ben to have a corpus callosotomy, is there any members in the group that have had this operation? he last his use of this left side of his body about 2 yrs ago when he 6 status attacks. at the moment he not been very well at all he fitting every single night and he started having problem with his wee. he sometimes doesn't for for a whole day. he now can't run and hardly can walk too, he spends more time in his wheelchair and doctors can't say if he going to get worse which is the pattern right now. everything getting hard for hom to do and he sometimes forgets he can;t do what he used to do. anyway i hoping to make new friends and help with any information i can
