Has anyone ever experienced an allergic reaction or anaphylaxis to the EEG?

Well I have had many EEG's and nothing happened to me. Unless you are allergic to the pasty stuff they used then I don't think it was the EEG causing your issues. Anaphylaxis is a severe, potentially life-threatening allergic reaction. It can occur within seconds or minutes of exposure to something you're allergic to, such as a peanut or the venom from a bee sting. Anaphylaxis requires an immediate trip to the emergency department and an injection of epinephrine. I know because a good friend of mine has to be given a shot in 30 minutes after a bee or wasp sting or he might die. If the EMT;s get there they don't have the stuff he needs since it requires refrigeration.
