Hello

Mon, 03/30/2015 - 09:56

Having some computer issues today please forgive my multiple post. My wife has had epilepsy for about 12 years now at the age of 38(no head trauma). I honestly believe they came about 2 years after lapband stomach surgery. When I speak to her neurologist he says her seizures are pseudo and regular but once they hear the word pseudo, most doctors forget everything said after that. Her gastro doctor says her band is fine and he doesn't want to do surgery because of the seizures. Annoyed is an understatement. When she goes to the er for having a seizure the er doctors don't do a whole lot. This is ridiculous. My newest option is to call a private ambulance and take her to a seizure hospital but i have to stop the seizure she is having at the moment. Most doctors we have dealt with haven't been willing or able to go to whatever hospital she is in to treat her. What am I missing here. I hope this site can give me some guidance or recommendations for doctors. Anything will help.

Thanks

Ray
