Dang, It sounds like infantile spasms. Do you mind me asking if the birth was normal? My daughter had these types of seizures when she was awake. I didn't see them until she was about 3 months old. Her birth was traumatic. Low heart rate, birth cord compression, bradychardia. All of her first eeg's were normal. As well as her cat scan's and MRIs. It wasn't until she had a status epilepticus event that her epilepsy was confirmed.

I agree. Her birth was normal. She did need to go into NICU because she had low blood sugar. She began having the seizures spardically. It wasn't until I caught her on video and that anyone believed me. She would jerk her hands and feet, especially during the almost asleep or waking states. Her brain became so irritated and full of seizures that on her first EEG she was seizing every second. The tech broke protocol and called neurology while feeding the results directly to the doctor. She is doing well now after 6 years. Very bright, funny, lovable and participates in sports. She just started snowboarding this year, after black diamond skiing last year.
