Hallucinations

My teen daughter is being treated for JME with Keppra and Topamax. Sometimes she wakes at night after hearing a high pitched noise and sometimes she sees shadows from the corner of her eye. Is there anyone out there with a similar experience? Her Neuro want to treat her like a psych patient and now I fear she won't be treated for her epilepsy.

Our daughter has experienced EXTREME sleep disturbances on Topamax. It has been awful! The hunt for the right meds might be worse than the medical condition itself.
