Good news...

Hi Well ds has his 48 hour Video EEG and it wasn't so bad. He basically was either watching his dvd's or wandering around the small room. We had a lot of company yesterday morning and that made the day go a little faster and my bil came up to the hospital to help out while dh had to go work. Anyway at naptime yesterday ds had 5 episodes and then last night he had 2. So they had plenty of data and the verdit from the cheif of pediatric neurology is that it is just a weird sleep thing that he is doing. I am so relieved and happy that while he was hooked up for about 36 hours he didn't show any signs of a seizure and even did his staring thing a few times. This gives me hope that one day he will out grow them. He even reduced his one med back to the level that he was taking before this all started. When we got home he was thrilled and then took a 3 hour nap and I think the only reason he woke up was that we had company come. Have a great night and thanks for the well wishes.
