Michelle,
Kaitlyn is now being evaluated to see if she has SID too. They are pretty certain that she does too, only her's isn't so much food issues like Christophers and Hayden's is. I mean she has some food issues, but not alot.
It seems awfully odd that both our kids have epilepsy and would have SID, it makes you wonder if there is a connection? Like the seizures maybe cause the overload and their bodies to act in certain ways to different things.
Chris has it but also falls onto the spectrum but also might be having seizures as well. So it's hard to say for sure what's what.
I think that kids can have the SID without any other disorder though too.
Good luck and I hope that everything is going well with Hayden.

My sons grand mals kicked in a 15. His E is genetic. He has SID as far back as I can remember. He is not autistic. I'm sure there is some link with the E. We are working with a Nuero psychologist to try and define all the little issues he has besides E to help make it easier for him to deal with it all. Id LOVE to go into the shower and find a label on a shampoo bottle. lol
My daughter has JME, and has never shown any signs of SID. go figure *
Be well and good luck*
