if any advise, please I would apreciated. My son is 10 yrs old now and non-verbal. His seizures are not under control and I suspect GI problems are the main trigger of his seizures. We live in Canada, Ontario.

Hi, CarlaMy son Ryan has intractable epilepsy, and has just been diagnosed with autism. He's 6, and is in preschool. I feel overwhelmed, but have been advised I have options for school. Ryan can either go to the public schools, or try a special school that uses ABA therapy as well as OT, PT, and ST. I think its important to include as many specialists and doctors at this point. You know the saying, it takes a village. Ryan's OT says its important to be aggressive, so that he can learn things early on. We are raising adults, not children. Love her! My son is nonverbal, too. Its hard isn't it, but there are ways to work with him
