diagnosed at 8 months old

My daughter is now 10 months old. At 8 months she was admitted to the hospital with what we thought were seizures. After many tests, including and eeg, it was confirmed she had abnormal activity on the right side of her brain. Immediately she was put on keppra and twice her meds have been adjusted already. Her neurologist went ahead and diagnosed her with epilepsy and partial complex seizures. I'm looking for anyone who can relate to our situation. My daughter has only had 1 appointment with her neurologist so far and he wasn't even present during the appointment. I'm feeling uneasy at the fact that they have declined to do any further testing and have ready diagnosed her with epilepsy. Has anyone gone through anything similar?

Hi, I'm sorry for the bad

Hi, I'm sorry for the bad news. I am 23 and I have lived with Complex Partial Seizures for a few years. They actually aren't too bad and most of the time go unnoticed. My EEG was also abnormal and I have another followup because they too continue to change my medication. I know this doesn't help much but I just wanted to tell you that I am going through the same thing but yet living a healthy normal life. Good luck <3
