Bad Headaches?

Mon, 09/14/2015 - 12:00

Hello All,

My 9 year old son has absence seizures and in his second week of medication for them. Can anyone tell me if the seizures themselves or the medication cause bad headaches? He's had a couple of them in the past week. Thanks!

as a person with seizures, the answer is yes to both. Seizures cause headaches. When I first started having seizures as a child ( grown women now) I would have a headache for a couple of days after a seizure. ( complex partial) Many medication cause headaches , Lamictal and Tegretol being to big ones.
