Anyone have experience with Low Glycemic Index Diet

Hi everyone,
Our doctor suggested the low glycemic index diet for our 5 year old daughter. We met with the nutritionist and I left a bit confused. I think overwhelmed with this change as we are also entering kindergarten. I find lots of literature and info on Keto diet but not a ton on LGI. Just wondering if anyone out there has good suggestions for website/books with meal plans or ideas. The whole family is making this change and from what I can tell it seems to be more flexible than the Keto diet.
I would love to hear your experiences (esp if you have kids in school) and any good forums, websites or books on this.

The diet you are looking for would help control blood sugars. Such a diet would be for people with diabetes Have you tried using your search engine to find what you are looking for or just talked to the neurologist? If not use google or bing and type in "glycemic index diet" You will bring up a lot of information. There is also a American Heart Association cook book which is also used by dietetics. That cookbook gives you all kind of substitutes for other items and a lot of recipes.
